Let's get our Vintage on!

The Day of Black Eggs & Sad Goodbyes

Monday Funday…? Not exactly; when you’ve been locked out of your bank account, expected deliveries haven’t arrived on time and to top it all off someone (no names, here, we ain’t snitches) cracks open a bad egg in the kitchen.

Have you ever seen a black egg before?? No, neither have I… I couldn’t bring myself to look. Not after smelling that smell; good god, my toes fairly curled. Gads.

Anyway, dapper gents and sassy bearcats, things have been pretty busy down at Jazz HQ of late, lots of exciting new events coming up and collaborations to share with you… but not yet. Patience.

Today we planned to share some hot new shots of our hot new dead stock with you all; but unfortunately the camera never made in time, and therefore such sneak peeks will have also to wait (sob)… But we can tell you that we have some pristine tapered trews holding up the block colours trend, and some crazy 80s day dresses; exciting, no? Well, we think so!

We also wanted to take the opportunity to thank Anneleen of snap&stitch, who over the past two months has been admirably holding up the guest blogger fort – and who was our very first jazz fan to take up the post.

From vintage makeovers to jazz festivals, craft circles (check out her Granny Green’s Big Night Out circle here!) to high fashion, she has taken us all on a ride in the cute little convertible that is her loves and life, and it’s been great to have the opinion of another vintage lover on our blog; you know how we love to mash it up…

Now, jazz fans, it’s YOUR turn! We want YOU to share your thoughts, fashion related or otherwise and spread thick your personality on a little portion of our blog. We’re still taking applicants for the next 2 month block, September/October, and if you think you’re enthusiastic and reliable enough to take it on, there are no other requirements!

Contact us to find out more; every noting of interest is considered. And in the meantime, let’s have a little pictorial run down of Anneleen’s best bits – click on her fine photos for further reading…

Thank you Anneleen!!
